Robs Mix 77 is ready for Download!!

I hope that every one enjoys the new mix, I gave out just over 200, and people still wanted more. What a crazy weekend last weekend was. I can't tell you how much of an ego booster it was. I'll end it right there, and that's all I'll say about it. I hope every one gets a lot of rest asd relaxation, becuase Friday is right around the corner. Don't let the theme of this weekend fool you. Man, Oh Man, Oh Man!! What an amazing weekend this past weekend was. Did Tea Austin Rock the joint or what! I've been a very big fan from ,well,,,, I don't want to give away my age, so I'll just say a very long time, and I got to spend to quality time with her. I can can she she is one of the nicest person I think I've ever met. Everything about her just shouts Peace, Love and Happiness. Her mind, body and soul, just spews love, and I'm so very honored to have met her. Everyone will have to agree she is definitely a fun person to be around. After her performance, she came in and partied with us until 2 a.m. Just take a look at some of the pictures, a very amazing person. I'm a little short on words this week, because I'm still star struck. If you missed this weekend, just glance at the pictures to see what you missed.

Well it is, day one after the surgery, and everything went better than I could have ever hoped. The surgery was a piece of cake, in fact, I do' teven remember them wheeling me back to the O.R. Room. The new cornea's in place, and now all it takes it time to heal. other than a little scratch feeling, there's no pain what so ever. Lucky me! See everyone Halloween weekend!!

Well it definantly feels good to be home back at the Sawmill. I'll be the first to admit it, I really missed Sawmill. And for the record, "NO" I'm not quitting. I don't know how or who started that rumor but it's not true. I'm in it for the long haul. high gas prices or not. I'll have to say this weekend definantly turned out to be better that I thought it would. The park looked a little empty Friday when I pulled in, but Friday and Saturday night, turned out to be amazing, a very good crowd both nights, and that makes me feel very good. It was also very nice to see so many people dressed up in togas, and it looked as every one was having a good time. I'm currently working on a new CD that I'll be handing out for Labor Day. And if you haven't already done so, you might want to make your reservations for Labor Day weekend, it generally sells out, and it's only 3 weeks away...

Holy Crap!!! How freaking fun was this past weekend!!! Everything seemed to go off with out a hitch. Also I'd like to give a very big thank you to Fred and Jorge. These are the guys that helped us out by the pool and set the sound system by Ricky Lake. They did such an amazing job, and they're some of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. A very big "THANK YOU!" From Myself and everyone at the Sawmill. Although I didn't get a chance to see the fireworks (imagine that, me busier that a one legged man in an ass kicking contest), but I heard from numerous people that they were amazing, and knowing Dave Thomas, I'm sure they were. I also hope that everyone enjoys my new mix Cd 75. It always amazes me at how fast they go. You don't understand how that really makes me feel. Speaking of my new mix 75, you'll be able to download it from the downloads page pretty soon. so keep checking back and download it as often as you like. All I can Say is WOW!!!!! What an amazing experience St Pete Pride was. I've always heard that it was a big event. but never realized that it was "THAT BIG". It was very empowering seeing so many people, in "our family" showing up and showing there pride. What an amazing time. A high point of the even was when the protesters showed up. There was probably about a group of about maybe 20 protesters that showed up, and you know how there are. Preaching scripts from the bible, how out lifestyle is an abomination, and we're all going to hell. and out of all the people there, no one, I mean "NO ONE", paid attention to them. The protesters would break up in individual groups and start ranting and raving again. People from the festival would make it a point to gather around the protesters, totally ignore what they were saying, and carry on conversations like the protesters weren't even there. I could tell by the protesters face, this really pissed them off . Adding insult to injury. Enough of that, I have my own personal feelings about the protesters, which include, alcoholics, wife abusers, and molesters, but we won't go there. I didn't really stay around Friday night to See Sean finish his act,and to see how the night ended, I had to head home and get some sleep, we had to leave for the festival at 6am, and lets just say I'm not a morning person. Saturday night was a crazy night. After getting 2 hours sleep, we got the party started, and what crazy night it turned out to be. 2 A.M came around so fast, people were screaming for more, but we unfortunately had to close up shop for the evening.

This coming weekend is 4th of July, and as many of you may be aware, this is once hell of a crazy weekend, I believe it's pretty much sold out, but you may want to call and double check. I'm also going to be giving out another new mix cd. number 75. Hard to believe that I've given out 75 mix cd's since I've been DJ'ing there, and never seem to get tired of doing it. I hope everyone enjoys it. Well gotta get things ready for this weekend, so everyone rest up, and get ready for a wild weekend. Yes!! My site is finally back and up and running. Thanks for all those in inquired. You'd be amazed at all the rumors that were flying, too many to mentioned, but what had happened was, my good friend Cubby Hole John From Fort Lauderdale was letting me use space on his web sever. After a while it became to much for him to handle, so he's shutting his server down, and doing what I did, out-sourcing the web hosting. I truly appreciate all the years that he was hosting my site, but the new server that I'm on is a lot faster, and now I have a newer much more professional email address. djrob@dj-rob69.com I still have all my other email address,and they'll still work, but I'll be using this one to conduct business. I've also created a guest book, so be sure to to stop by and sign it. Well, first things first. I'm a DADDY!!! Curtis' and I have 2 female and 1 male siamese cats, and Little Miss had 4 beautiful kittens. She did such a fantastic giving birth, cleaning them up, and feeding them. She's such a good momma, and you can tell she's a proud parent. Now onto the second matter at hand. What a wild and crazy weekend!!! I'll be the first to admit that when I drove around and saw that grape circle was just about completely empty, and a lot of cabins we're vacant, I thought for sure this would be a slow weekend.....WRONG!!!! Holy Crap!!!!! Just about the entire court yard was full of people watching the movies, and once that was over, the glo-stick party was on!!! The place was absolutely jammed packed with people putting glo-sticks in places I never imagined. And glancing at the pics, seems everyone was having a very good time!!! Must not be the music after all...LOL!! For all of you who didn't get a CD 2 weeks ago, You can visit the download section and download it as many times as you want. Feel free to make copies and pass them around. I won't be there this weekend for the Black Light Body Paint Weekend, I'll be in Orlando at Gay Days ,Thursday thru Monday, and with all the circuit parties and after hours parties (Magic Journeys (1am to 9am) you know I'm going to be one tired Beeouch. I generally run into a lot of people who frequent the Sawmill, so it'll be fun to be able to hang out and have fun with you all weekend long!! Be safe and have fun.

Well, Didn't we tell you that Memorial Day weekend is always a trip! and this year proved to live up to the standard. The weather was amazing, there were a lot of new faces, and woodys was jam packed all three nights. You'll have to hop over to the gallery section and see the 250+ pictures my partner, Curtis took. I think he was working just as hard as I was...If you haven't looked at the schedule for next week, we're having the first ever go-stick party on Saturday night. This should be a blast too. We're giving out free glo-sticks, and a lot of other cool glow surprises, so you'll have to come out and see it for yourself. I'm kinda short on words this week, so just be sure to head over the the gallery section and see all the good times!! Hope everyone enjoys the new CD. Well how about the production of the Wizard of Oz put on the the Camp Drag Divas and crew? Hilarious huh!! Give the girls a few shots of liquor and look how much fun it turned out. Better yet, it's different every time they do it. Also hats go off to Joey D. for making it looking like Oz. No matter what Joey does, it's turns out fabulous! I know there's still some haters out there, and I tend to over hear all the comments that are made (and some even directed my way), but you know what. What comes around goes around. If somebody's talking about me and stirring up crap, fine. If they have nothing else better to do with their time, then fine. At least there not talking about some one else. Now to change subject. I just looked down at the calendar and Memorial Day is 2 weeks away...Holly Crap!!! I've got two weeks to get some music together and make a new cd. I know it's been a while, so I hopes with the wait.

Happy Cinco De Mayo!!! I hope everyone had a fabulous time at the carnival this weekend. I knew it was going to be a hit, but I never imagined that it would be that huge!!! Thanks to Promo Bob, Joey D, and all the volunteers that help pull it off. It was truly an amazing time. Make sure you keep checking the web site for up-coming events, there's quite a few of them, and the one that come to mind is memorial day weekend. It's a 3 day weekend, so you know it'll be packet. Happy April Fools!! Well I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend last weekend. All though there where a some little hick-ups like a religious dingle berry group trying to lampoon the even, and some nays ayers, the party went off with out a hitch. So the goes to show ,that the fun never stops at the Sawmill. Thanks to Mike, Phil, Al, Chuck, The Men of Babylon, Joey D, and all volunteers that made this even very successful. Well you can definantly tell the weather is getting warmer, The crowds are getting bigger, the clothes are getting skimpier, and the bodies are getting sweatier on the dance floor. Just the way I like it. I'd like to set a little fact straight, a certain individual says that I don't play requested music (hints the picture below). the truth of the matter is that there's a time and place for everything. I've tried to appease him many of times by playing a song that he wanted, and you know what happened? He was the only one left on the dance floor. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm the most loving, friendly, giving person alive. Heck, even my $500.00 camera went missing this weekend, and am I bitter about it? NO!! I'll just buy a new one and move one. I've tried numerous, numerous, and numerous times to get along with this individual, and it's impossible. Life's to short to be so bi-polar, so enjoy life while you can... If I wasn't doing a good job, would the dance floor be packed almost every weekend? Just take a look at the gallery section and you decide. I've also been told that I don't play with the lights as much as I used to, and there's several reasons for that too, some get unplugged during the week, some are left on all week, burning the bulbs up, and some just don't work any more. That's why on big weekends, I put my other lights up and play with them. I'm also looking at getting some really cool intelligent lighting that will make your dance experience even more pleasurable. Well, I'm actually stocking up for the all night pool party weekend, so we can have all kinda of lights running out there as well. Now that I got that off my chest, I'm working on a new Robs Mix Cd, I believe it's #74 that I'm going to be giving out over Memorial Day Weekend. So be on the look out for that. Anyone who has ever gotten one knows how fast they go, all 200 of them. I'm also looking at taking some video and uploading them to YOUTUBE.COM and on MYSPACE.COM, that that's something exciting and new I'm working on. This weekend is Easter Weekend, / White Party weekend, and we have all kinds of stuff planned for you, there's a bonnet contest by the pool, an Easter egg hunt, and a tightly whitey contest at 11pm. So there's lots of chances to win some pretty cool stuff. Also in 2 weeks the the Gay International Film Festival with Rupal, and I know for a fact it's going to be an amazing event. So much so that we have to get extra parking and shuttle service to drive people back and fourth....Thank God I'm taking off Friday, so I can get there a day early. Man what a crazy weekend last weekend turned out to be. Woody's was absolutely packed and we even got to play until 3 am on Saturday night. Just check out the pictures. This weekend is the Spring Music Fest. This weekend is generally a jammed pack weekend, so hopefully you made your reservations. This weekend we also set the clocks ahead one hour, which I'm totally looking forward to. I love it light early and light later, especially driving down to Sawmill on Friday night. From what I hear, The bingo situation should be cleared up shortly. Basically Sawmill is at the mercy of the county, waiting on the proper permits, which were applied for over 4 months ago. And trust me, if you've ever had any work done by outside contractors in Pasco County, The mentality is basically the same. The county will get to it when they get to it. Great customer service huh!?!? Any way, have a safe and wonderful week!!

Well howdy folks!! Yes I'm still here just been taking a little hiatus. People have been emailing me asking why they haven't seen me around Sawmill like they usually do, and there's a couple of reasons, but the main reason is my right eye. Here's what's happened. On New Years Eve (of all weekends) I scratched my eye, I'm assuming, with my contact, and I did all the things you weren't' supposed to do. I put a patch over it, (since it was sensitive to light) and kept putting warm compresses on it because it made it feel better, and waited to long to go to the doctor. To make a long story short, the scratch became infected, causing a ulcer on my eye (right over the pupil), and then as the scratch started healing, it left scar tissue behind it. So basically it's like opening you eyes under water. Every thing is very cloudy and I and cant see anything clear at all. The good news is that there's a fix for it. It's called a cornea transplant. They basically cut away the cloudy cornea (with what looks like a small cookie cuter) replace it with a donor cornea, and stitch it in place. Sounds rough, but what I've read, it's a pretty easy surgery. It's just the healing time is a long process. Since the cornea has no blood vessels the rejection percentage of the donor cornea is very low, but could take 6 months to a year to heal and see clearly out of it. And trust me I'm ready for it. Although it won't be for at least 3 to 6 months before the surgery. However, I still haven't missed a weekend at the sawmill and don't plan too. I've actually been surprised the last couple of weeks. On weekends that I though that it'd be slow, it was actually a pretty fun weekend. So that's for everyone concerns, and I truly appreciate the love and support!!!

What a sweet surprise. This past weekend was a lot busier than years past.....I even got to Dj until 4 A.M. on Saturday. I'll thought I didn't make it to the white party hosted by Chuck and Al, I hear it was totally off the hook. I would have loved to attend, but I usually take a nap on Saturday getting ready for the long Saturday night. Well only a couple of weeks and it's New Years weekend. And although New Years day falls on a Tuesday, We've got a full 4 days planned for New Years. First of all I'll be Dj'ing Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights. I know the Schedule on the web, and in the Buzz magazine may be a little confusing (conflicting info), it's going to be a jammed packed weekend of events. Beside me on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday bringing in the new year, We have a New Years Diva show scheduled for Saturday, Karaoke on Sunday, Judy K on Monday and 10 pm fireworks over Ricky lake. I also have a few suprises up my sleeve. I'll drop a lilted hint for one of them...#73. So get ready for a jammed packed weekend, this tends to be one of Sawmills biggest weekend. Well only 2 more weeks and 2007 is over. It's amazing how fast this year has gone by. Speaking of the new year. It's usually one of Sawmills busiest weekend, and although it falls in a Tuesday, It's going to be a party nonetheless. I'm taking Monday off from work here in Jacksonville, So I'll be Dj'ing Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and bringing in the new year on Monday. I'm also in the process of making Robs Mix 73, and I promise it won't be screwed up like Robs Mix 72. Speaking of which. I re-mastered 30 #72, which I will have with me, so If you didn't get one, or if the one that you have is screwed up, just come up and asked me or daddy Curtis and we can get one for you. I've also gotta few tricks up my sleeves, so you'll have to come out and see what they are. A few changes are taking place at Sawmill and the one I love the most is that Woodys is getting a makeover. I saw the new paneling on the outside last weekend, and it's totally amazing. It looks 100 percent better than before. Also my good friends and neighbors are moving. Barb and Tom Bought a house in Land-O-Lakes, and amid all the multiple number of rumors that I heard, (The funniest one that I heard was that she was pregnant.) They're doing it for family reason, and will be sadly missed. But the good news is that they'll be out and about on a regular basis. I'm also going to be changing web hosts, so This site may be off line for a couple of days, but I promise I'll get it back up ASAP. Well, just got back from dinner with daddy Curtis (yes he came to Jacksonville and sent a week with me), and I'm so stuffed, I feel like I'm going to pop. the best part is yet to come. Lay on the couch and watch TV for the rest of the day :)

Man, oh man, oh man.....what a wild and crazy this weekend was....here it is Tuesday, and I'm still paying for it. Between Dj'ing until 4 am both Friday, and Saturday, getting a float ready, running back and fourth setting music up for the parade, and being in the parade, I'm one tired puppy...but....would I do it all again...ABSOLUTLY!!!! I never did get a chance to go check out the haunted garage, but so many people came up to me and told me how amazing it was. I did get a chance to check it out during the day, and if it looked anything like it did during the day, I believe it was truly awesome. I also gave out the most cd's that I ever given out in the years past. I gave 100 out Friday, and 100 Saturday, and guess how many I had left over?? ZERO!!!!! and people were still screaming for more. I can't begin to tell you how that makes me feel. I'm very fortunate to be working at the Sawmill and plan on being there for many more years. If you did miss getting a cd this past weekend, I'm going to be putting it up here shortly so you can download it yourself, and of course I'll have a few extra on hand, so if you want one, don't be afraid to ask. Get some rest, because this weekend is also gearing up to be one heck of a weekend too.

Man, what a couple of crazy past weeks. If you haven't heard, we're keeping the party going until 4 am on Friday and Saturday, with drink specials after 2 am, so that's even more of a reason to come out and party with us. Also, Halloween is only 2 weeks away. Man how time as flown. As I sit here and type this blog, I'm working on a new CD for Halloween weekend, and I'll probably have some surprises up my sleeve, so mark your calendar, There's a lot going on, a haunted garage, a lighted pared, and partying till 4 am..what else can you ask for. See, even cowboys like dancing to High Energy Dance Music. So much so that we kept going until 4 A.M. both Friday and Saturday Night. Here's a little insider scoop, if you didn't know already. The plan is to keep the bar and music going until 4 A.M. every weekend. If it works out, it may become a permanent thing. You guys have been asking to keep it going a little longer, and your requests have been granted. So tell everyone you know that we're going to make Sawmill the place to be, party like we used too. Uniform Fantasy Weekends have always been one of my favorites, and anyone who came out last weekend will surly agree with me....WOOFS!!!!!! Also wanted to give Tom Marbel a Happy Birthday shout out. I can't believe he's 65 YO. Holy Crap!! I hope I look half as good as he does when I'm 65. Thanks again to everyone who came out and made it yet another fantastic weekend. Things are on the rebound, and with weekends like leather biker weekend, and black light body paint weekends it's sure to be festive every weekend.

Man!!!! Was this weekend crazy or what?!?!?!? I think that's the first time that we've every stayed open until 4 A.M. the entire weekend, and what a blast it was. Hopefully we can do that more often. I just found out from promotions, that this Saturday night is also going to be a black light body paint night. We're going to incorporate the Luau theme with a black light theme, so you know it's going to be another wild and crazy weekend. Thanks again for everyone's love and support once again. It really feels so good to have people come up and say how much fun they're having, and good job. It really, really means a lot!!! Man, what a wild and crazy weekend it was. although I wasn't the usual DJ Rob (who likes to get from behind the booth and have a good time with you guys) do to getting over walking pneumonia, it was still good to see the crowd having such a excellent time, and a good looking crowd at that. This weekend coming up is Labor Day weekend, and it's going to be like non other. I For one and going to be exhausted. We're going till 4 A.M., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and I'll be Dj'ing the pool party on Saturday. Speaking of pool party, we're going to have a wet jock contest, a wet t-shirt contest, and a whole bunch of other things going on, so you won't want to miss out. OMG....what a wild weekend we had last weekend. The Backwoods Bears turned it out once again. Although I was stuck back at my site doing "honey do" things, and didn't get out much during the day, everyone told me what good time was had. Can you believe that Labor Day is only 3 weeks away?? OMG, how this years has flown by. I don't have all the details yet, but this Labor Day is going to be like none other. Tenably, this is what is planned. We'll have the meet and greet as usual by Splash, bingo in Woody's at 9 pm until... and then woody's will be open until 4am Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Fantasy Birthday weekend is approaching fast, so I hope you at least have an idea of what kinda costume your dressing up as. If you've been to a fantasy Bday in the past you know how much fun it is. Strippers, drink specials, midnight munchies, and a $500 cash prize. What amazing 4th this turned out to be. At the last minute we got per mission to shoot off the fireworks, and what a show they were. I've seen about 6 firework shows at the Sawmill, and not to take away for years past, but this one has to be the best one by far, hats off to Dave for doing an amazing Job. I also want to apologize about my new CD. If you notice, there's a pause between each track, I forgot to remove that pause, so it stops for a second or so. I've removed that pause and plan on bring more with me or the Fantasy party. Speaking of the fantasy party, it's right around the corner, so I hope you have your costume ideas ready and ready to win a chance at $500.00 cash!! That's right, no bar tabs, no free night stays...Cash...500 Clams. So make your reservations now, because the last 2 years have been a sell out. See ya on the dance floor!!!!

Forget the hot dogs and marsh mellows, what about that amazing dinner for Chucks's 40th B-Day!!! Kudos' to Don and Garland for putting on yet another fun show. It's amazing how fast those girls can change clothes!!! 4th of July is only 3 weeks away. This is one of the biggest weekends at Sawmill, hopefully we'll be able to have the annual fireworks, that is if mother nature cooperates and gives us some rain to end the fire-ban. Man what a summer this is turning out to be!!! Beautiful weather, amazing crowds, and being out with everyone as they have a great time. This weekend is Memorial Day Weekend, so you know it's going to be a non-stop party from Friday until Sunday. Just remember..Pasco county has a mandatory fire ban, so please no open fires. You'll have to grill your weenies over a grill instead of and open fire...lol.. It's also that time again. Time for a new DJ-Rob Release. J ust one word comes to mind about last weekend, WOW!!! All though I wasn't up to the usual "DJ -Rob" Standards (I apologize. I've been fighting a cold/flu for the last 2 weeks. Thinks it's time to see a DR?...LOL...). I had so much fun hanging out with everyone at the pool Saturday, catching up on old times, and saying hello to people that I haven't seen since last summer. It was so very nice seeing you guys again, and don't be strangers. We're open 27/7..365!!! Now on a little more serious note, with the weather being as dry as it has been and the lack of rain that we've been having, I urge every one to please, please, be responsible when having a camp fire. please don't build a gargantuan fire, and please don't leave it unattended. I'm sure everyone would appreciate it. Make sure you check out the schedule section and check out all the events that are coming up. Speaking of which, Memorial Day is only three weeks away, and this weekend sells out extremely fast, so consider your self warned. You won't want to miss it!!!

Has spring started with a bang or what?? The Pride, Black Light Body paint weekend was a total success (I guess I can say I told you so now.) It was a wonderful surprise to see the place incredible packed until 3AM. Thank you to each and everyone of you that made it a amazing experience. Pride doesn't happen only a couple months out of the year, it should happen everyday. Be happy of who you are, and don't settle for less that that. since the weather is starting to get warmed it time to crank up the T-dances by the pool on saturdays. Every one was like "It's about time," so we're go to break out t-dances Sawmill style. Get ready for a lot of games, prizes, and who knows what...we're spontaneous like that. I know i apologized before abut not keeping this updated like i used to, but since the Summer time is right around the corner, I'll do my best. Daddy curtis has been a real help taking pictures, so hopefully I'll have double the pictures this year. I've also been producing and remixing some songs lately, so that has taken up alot of my time. But you guys come first. always has, always will. There's tons of fun and exciting weekends coming up, and with the weather getting warmer, get ready, we're going to turn it out..

Having spent nearly the entire weekend with her, I can tell you she is one of the most down to earth, friendly, and most appreciative person you will ever meet. If there's one think I like about the Sawmill is the random amount of fun you could have. If you missed the bears that popped in Woodys Last Friday night what, what a hoot they were. You never know what you might see on Friday and Saturday Nights. Make sure you check out the gallery section to see what I'm talking about. Over the next couple of weeks, my website might not be updated as often. I'm Finally moving out of my "x's" (Thank God,) and moving into a place of my own. In short, my life over the last couple of weeks and been "The same drama, different day." Let me just vent for a few moments. I don't like being talked down about; to make it look like I'm the one that caused all the problems. I don't like being thrown out of a house (and a camper) that I worked so hard to re-model, only to leave with only my clothes, and someone else walking right in. I don't like a person who is all buddy-buddy to there "so called friends," only to turn around and talk nasty about them behind there back. Am I bitter, no. Am I mad, yea a little. But I'm a very big believer in Karma. What comes around goes around. That's why I'm always so friendly, and so happy go lucky when ever you see me. There's no sense in getting caught up in the day to day drama. I don't care about who did what to who, or what that person did to that person. It's none of my business, so leave me out of the drama loop. Well I'll get down off of my soap box now. In short. Life is to short to worry about the small things. Things always work out for a reason. That's why the most wonderful person walked into my life a year and a half ago, and we have big plans for the future. Embrace life and live it to the fullest. Your not promised tomorrow, so live today like it's your last.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!
If you missed this years New Years Celebration, You missed one hell of a party. I'm still recuperating from it. It was nice to see so many new faces, so many old faces that haven't been out in a while, and the regulars, that absolutely turned it out. The fireworks were amazing as always, Barb and Toms party, was off the hook, and the energy was off the charts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights....That you for making it and outstanding weekend. I passed out just about 200 CD's this weekend, and for those who didn't get one, You'll be able to down load it here ad soon as I get it uploaded. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do, making them and passing them. That's the least I can do for all your love and support in 2006, and I look forward to making you shake that ass in 2007. . Well I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. I was so nice spending quality time with friends and family. I now I can take down the decorations so I don't have to worry about tripping a fuse when I turn on the microwave...lol.. Well New Years is only a couple of days away, if you haven't made you reservations yet, cross your fingers there still some available. This event is one of Sawmills biggest weekends, and we're sure to turn up the heat a little. Fireworks over Ricky Lake, partying with hundreds of your closest's friends, and oh yea, My new mix CD that I'm going to me giving out. This will be Robs MIx # 69, and I'll be bringing over 200+ with me, so I'm sure every one will get one that wants one. get plenty of rest, because this new years is going to be like none other....I for one can't wait!!

Another thing that was pretty cool was to see how some Decorated there RV's and tent sights...very far out there. SHe is one amazing performer, and one of the most down to earth and friendly person you'd ever want to meet. From picking her up at the airport, to taking her to the sound check, to having lunch and dinne rwith her at Cracker Barrel, I had to keep pinching myself, making sure I wasn't dreaming. Holly Crap!!! I knew this weekend was going to be spectacular, but I never realized that it would unbelievably spectacular!!! It's finally good to see people get in the spirit. let loose and have an amazing time. If you missed it, let me give you a run down on what you missed. When I thought there'd be only 10 maybe 15 floats for the parade, 27 + showed up. And if you missed mine, I was doing a little promo work for an up coming event in December. Black Light Body Paint Weekend. I'll have to admit it and self gloat, our float turned out better than I thought, Daddy really busted his ass to get it put together and then helped me paint it, hang the black lights up and get the sound working. Yes, I got's me a good man :) I also gave out 150 new mix cd's this weekend, and just when I thought that'd be enough, I was wrong. They went so fast Saturday night, it even amazed me. If you missed getting on, I'll be bringing more with me, or just go to the downloads page, and download it for your self. First let me start off by saying thank you for one of the best birthdays I've had in a very long time. Thanks for all the cards, the hugs, and the love. I can't begin to explain how that made me feel. THANK YOU!!!!! Second, Hats off to the divas for pulling off an amazing show. I felt the tension when the final moments ticked down for the kick off, but everything went smoothly, and every one have a marvelous time!!! It's October, so you know what that means. Halloween is only about 4 weeks away, and this is by far one of the craziest weekends on record, so make your reservations early, and start thinking about a costume. On that note, we're also having another illuminated parade. so get the wheels spinning, and lets put this year on the map.

Crazy, Crazy, Crazy....That's all I can say about this past weekend. What a great time was had. Just the way it should be. This upcoming weekend is "Hanging Onto Summer" weekend, and we have lots of fun stuff planned for you. We're having a best bathing suit contest, a beach ball contest, drink and lunch specials, and so much, more stuff planned, so make sure you come out and hang out by the pool for a couple of hours with us. I've also figured out how to work my camera, and in the gallery section of this web site, instead of only seeing pictures, you'll also see video clips. What can I say but, what another fabulous weekend. Even mother nature couldn't stop the party. You know when we go till 4 A.M. it's gotta be a party. I hope every one enjoys the new CD I put out. And if you haven't already noticed, it can't be copied. It's not my doing. You know me, I don't care if you make a million copies and pass them out that's jut more exposure for me and the Sawmill. The reason you can't copy it is, I bought a cd duplicator, and although I can burn 10 cd's in a matter of 3 minutes, It copy protects the burned cd automatically. so I apologize for that. I also apologize for how you have to download and burn the new cd from my website. I accidentally erased my original copy, the one I put on here for you to download. But before I did that I made and image of the cd, so at least I have that. What you have to do is, download the image, and then use whatever burning software you use (I use Nero) and then use the "burn image to disk" feature, and Bam, there you have it. Also thanks to Don and Garland for the party they threw Saturday night. Free food, and free booze....trust me, people were ready to party then. Thanks to every one who came out this weekend to make it another fantastic weekend. And it don't stop there. This weekend is levi / leather weekend with the Tampa Bay Leather Club, so you know it'll be a festive time.

I'm Back!!!! First let me apologize for the lag in keeping this thing updated. I'll be the first to admit it, 90% lazy and 10% just not feeling it. But that's all in the past and DJ-Rob is back. Over the last couple of weeks, what have I been doing?? We'll I've been seriously thinking about moving to Sarasota, taking care of some personal issues, oh and making you 150 cd's to give away this weekend!!!! That's right, it's been a long time coming, but I have a new Mix CD coming out. Thanks for everyone's emails, wondering when one was coming out. To me, that's just motivation to hurry up and put another one out very soon. I also apologize for the lack of pictures over the last several weeks. My camera surprisingly grew legs and ran away. But I'm not bitter, Things always work out for the better, and now I have a better one. so be prepared. I have to make up for lost time. This past weekend I had the opportunity to hang out with the guys and girls form L.E.G.A.L, and let me tell you what, they were some of the nicest people to meet. I really look forward to them coming back out again real soon. Don't forget that this weekend is Labor Day Weekend, It's a three day weekend, so get ready, It's going to be one hell of a weekend. I might not see you guys Sunday, But I'm sure you'll see enough of me Friday, Saturday Poolside, and Saturday Night. I normally would say make your reservations early, but I think it might be a little late for that. I haven't heard the latest reservation report, but if it's anything like years past.....HOLD ON!!!!!!

I don't know about you, but I had an absolute blast last weekend. Carmela Garcia was a riot as usual, and the Sisters were one of the nicest group of people I've ever had a chance to meet. If you ever in the Tampa area, check them out. Yo won't be sorry. The weather has been absolutely amazing this summer, and we still have a couple of months left, so squeeze into those tighty whities and head down to splash gets yourself a bite to eat, a cool refreshing cocktail, and worship the sun while we still can. What an amazing weekend it was!!!!! Here it is Monday, and I'm still tired from this past weekends events. Hands down to everyone how made it a spectacular event. It was totally amazing playing until 4 A.M. I couldn't believe how fast the time flew. The party started at 9 A.M. and in the blink of an Eye it was 4 o'clock in the morning. Thank to everyone who came out and made it a very successful 2nd year event. And just like last year, you can guarantee that we'll be doing it again next year. Sorry for anyone who had a hangover Sunday. The jello shooters that daddy Curtis made where a little potent. You better believe that he's world famous now because of those shooters. What another fantastic weekend. What an amazing turnout. We had 21 contestants who entered the best buns contest, and buy checking out the gallery page, although there isn't that many pictures, just look at the crowd inside of woodys...and it was like that all night long....You talk about one tired DJ......My legs are still sore....

This weekend is our 2nd annual Fantasy Birthday Weekend, and it's guaranteed to off the hook. I've seen some of the things Joey D. Has planned for decorations, and it's one of his best yet. So Make sure you get your rest, berceuse it's going to be one hell of a weekend!!!!

What a crazy weekend last weekend was....We haven't' had a black light body paint weekend in quite a long time, and I could tell people were ready to have fun. The party started at 8 pm and we didn't finish until 3 am. Amazing. This was also the first time that we ever had that many contestants enter a contest. There were a total of 21 contestants and they all looked amazing. It's amazing at the creativity some people have. Especially putting body paint in places that you normally can't see. Another thing that's also amazing is this weekend is 4th of July weekend. Can you believe that the year is over half way finished?? the old saying it true, time fly's when your having fun. I hope everyone get well and rested for the 4th of July Weekend. We have tons of fun stuff planned to keep you entertained, and you won't want to miss any of it. I SURVIVED!!!!!!
But Barley..LOL...
This, I would have to say, was one of the best Gay Days years I have been too. It was so fun spending time all my friends, and and the love of my life....Daddy Curtis. To be honest, I thought it be a little to much for him, but he out lasted me......can you believe it......It's true, I swear. We started off at mannequins on Thursday night were we closed the place down at 2:30 am. Then we went to Beach Ball at Typhoon Lagoon on Friday night, and I absolutely had a blast there. It's so cool to just get in the lazy river with about 5000 people and just float around the entire park. But I'll tell ya, it's not easy dancing in sand. My legs were very sore the next day. After recouping from Friday night, It was time to hit the parties of all parties. Magic Journey at Arabian Nights. We got there about 1 a.m. when it opened, and only started off with a couple hundred people. But by 5 am, I kid you not there were about 10,000 people there. If you've never been to Arabian Nights, it's huge. It's a dinner theater that basically puts on a Medieval Renaissance. and it's amazing on it's own counts, but add, amazing lights, loud music, and half naked sweaty body's, your in for one hell of a good time. I also met tons, and tons of fresh new faces that will hopefully make a trip out to the Sawmill. If you guys read this....Thanks for the Great Memories..I'll definantly miss you and I'll see you at the Sawmill real soon. If not, I'll see you all again next year. Please keep in touch. Whelp, it's off to bed. It's the nasty 4 letter word tomorrow. WORK!!!!!! yuck...

Was this weekend amazing or what!!!!! Thanks to everyone that came out and made it one of the best Memorial Days that I can remember. Well almost, I remember the one last year. It was basically cancelled because we had a hurricane come thru, but last weekend made up for it. Everything from bingo, the hot dog cook out, the diva's, oh and yea me :) went absolutely flawless. If you want to feel the love and the energy of this weekend, just take a look at the gallery section, and see for your self. Truly amazing. I especially loved playing until 4 am Saturday, and by the looks of the jammed packed dance floor, so did everyone else. I hope everyone got a new cd of mine that I was giving out. This weekend I'll be on vacation in orlando, with about 50,000 of my closest friends. Is everyone getting there rest for this weekend??? As you know Memorial Day is one of Sawmills biggest weekends. and it's a non-stop Party from Friday until Monday. There's pool games, Food, Drinks, Karaoke, a diva Show, oh and yea, me :) I'm also going to be giving out my new Dj-Rob Mix # 66 This weekend. Here we are halfway thru may and almost halfway thru the year...Can you believe it....With so many big weekends coming up in the near future, I don't know where to begin, but I'll give it a shot. This weekend is Pajama Party Weekend, and for the first time, after the music stops, Woodies turns into drive in theater (well kinda sorta), were going to have mats on the floor (or feel free to bring your own) and watch movies all night and into the wee hours of the morning. Just a little side note. NO HANKY PANKY, big brother (or big sisters (CE, CE, Tara, and the rest of the divas) will be policing the area. This should be a very fun event, so come on out and make it one huge slumber party success. and yes, you'll see me dancing around in my PJ's to. Then the following weekend, is Memorial Day Weekend. that should speak for itself. It's a 3 day weekend, and from what I've heard it's already sold out, but keep trying, there's always cancellations. I'm also going to be giving away my new mix cd # 66. Gosh, I still can't believe that I've given out over 55 mix cd's in the last four years. And more important, I look forward to giving out 55 more mix cd's in the years to come. We're else can you go and have the dj come out and dance with ya, and then give you some free stuff ?? No where but at the Sawmill. I totally, totally, appreciate everyone's love and support. I can't begin to explain the feeling I get when I look out of the DJ booth and see the dance floor packed, or come out and dance with ya, and feel everyone's energy, it's totally magic.
Also a big thanks to Jimmy I. for reminding me to update this thing...somebody's gotta keep me in check :) Love Ya !

Damn... has it been a month since I've updated the news section?? Where has the time gone??? Spring is officially if full swing, and trust me, it's only gonna get hotter, and hotter. This month we have the 8th Year Anniversary of Sawmill (man, time sure has flown by,) Pig fest, Pajama Party (this one is a first for Sawmill. After the music stops, bring your sleeping bag and pillows up to the Woodies for one big slumber party...details to follow) and then the last weekend of the month is Memorial Day. Talk about a way to end the month. This is a three day weekend, so make your reservations now, because it will sell out. trust me.....

What a crazy weekend!!! It turned out to be one of the best music feast's I've seen, and I've seen what, maybe ten of them? I was truly impressed!! The crowd was very upbeat, there's was tones of energy, and everybody was having a good time!! Especially me. My daddy (Curtis) came home from his cruise, and after a week long of crying my eyes out, and crying on peoples shoulders (Thanks Jon and Jill!!!) I finally got to do something that I really missed doing. Holding him and saying I love you. It really is true that you miss something once is gone, and after 7 days of not being able to talk to him or see him, I felt whole again once he was home. I'm a very big believer in that things happen for a reason, and he is the right that has been wrong in my life for a long time now. Anyway enough of my wishy washy stuff, and a big thank you to everyone that came out this weekend and made it a huge success. This weekend is one of my favorites; uniform fantasy weekend, and I've already got my costumes already picked out, so I'll see ya on the dance floor!!!

Well, we all survived Mardi Gras, and what a party it was!!!! It's so cool to see everyone get into the spirit!! All the floats looked amazing, the costumes were totally fierce, and the energy was off the hook. Thank you so much to every one that cam out and made it another successfull weekend. But it's not over yet......This weekend is a "Shoot the Moon (Formaly Bare As You Dare)" weekend, and the theme is a "Masked Ball" event. Basically we're going to turn it into a mini (or large) mardi gras type theme, and make it a Mardi Gras party party two. Since Mardi Gras does last two weeks, what the hell. As I was saying goodbye to everyone Monday, I stopped by Woodies to say bye to Joey D. and was amazed at what he's doing to the place. Lets just say it's totally off the hook, and looks amazing. But why would we expect less from Joey :) gotta love him. I still have tons of beads to toss out, I'm making some more cd's, (since 300 wen't in a matter a hours), and I have a few more tricks up my sleve, so you'll have to come out and join the fun. It also looks like the weather is starting to warm up, so weather permitting I'm going to be doing t-dance by the pool, and you know how much I enjoy doing that. Also, did anyone figure ot what C.C. means.. the only thing that comes to my mind is Coochie Cutters...But I don't think I've every seen her where those....

God, Has it been almost a month since I've updated this thing......Geeze....I do apologize, and promise that I'll do better keeping it updated, and keeping the pictures of the weekends festivities updated. I guess it took a little kick in the pants from all you guys to get me back in the mood....Also I've posted this weekends schedule of events for Mardi-gras. And just in case you have been under a rock these last couple of weeks, this weekend is Mardi Gras Weekend and Sawmill, and it's one of the biggest events of the year, so come out and enjoy all the festivities. I personally have been working on getting a new CD out to you guys, and there just about all finished. I'm bringing 300 of them with me, so hopefully they'll be plenty of them to go around. I also have a couple of more surprises up my sleeve that no one knows about, so come out for one heck of a good time. I'm also looking for volunteers to be on our float, (it's also a secrete. and daddy Curtis and sworn me to secrecy), so if your interested, shoot me an email, and I'll give you some details. Just a quick blurb to say thank you so much for coming out this weekend and braving the cold. I'm paying for it now, but as always it's all worth it. Noting that little Vicks 44 can't handle. I don't know about you, but I'm getting pretty excited about a few weekends coming up. Mardi Gras to name one and Uniform Fantasy weekend is the other that comes to mind. I've already heard several people saying there already working on there Mardi Gras costume, and I'm working on my Uniform Fantasy outfit, so I'm pretty excited about that. This weekend is Age of Aquaris weekend, so break out your platforms and afro's and get ready to dance to 70's disco music inside and out. I've got my costume ready, do you?

Can you believe how amazing New Years weekend was!!!! Holy-crap!!!!! From a DJ stand of view, it was totally amazing having a jammed packed house Friday and Saturday night. Especially Saturday night when we stayed open until 4 A.M. and at closing people were still screaming for more!!! Thank you for you're love and support. It means a lot to me. I hope every one like My new cd 64 that I passed out this weekend. I had close to 200 cd's and they flew like crazy. If you didn't get one you can always download it here, but be patient. it's big file, so It's might take a while. I also saw that all the glow stick, glow necklaces, and glow bracelets went pretty quick too. I had close to 400 of those, and they were going faster that I could pass them out. It also looked good to turning out the light and seeing all the glow stuff in the air..what a freaking party!!!!! But lets not stop there. Were starting off the New Year full steam ahead, and lets not forget that Mardi Gras is only about 6 weeks way...so It'll be like New years all over again!!
